The Rice University Police Department will be conducting two crime prevention courses by year’s end.

The 40-hour Basic Crime Prevention Course is scheduled for November 3 – 7, 2008.

The 40-hour Commercial Crime Prevention Course, which includes one day of campus crime prevention topics, is scheduled for the week of December 15 – 19, 2008. In order to be informed of crime prevention strategies, applications and terminology, attendees of this course must have completed the Basic 40 Hour Course.

Both of these courses are appropriate of campus police, non-commissioned security and access control personnel.
